About us

Precision engineering for critical process systems

Parflow Engineering designs and manufactures the components that measure, isolate, control, and carry process media in industrial fluid systems. Sixteen product families, machined and pressure-tested under one quality system, specified by process plants, EPC contractors, and OEMs across India and international markets.

Who we are

What we design and manufacture

Our products form the backbone of industrial fluid systems: the safe measurement, isolation, control, and transmission of process media under demanding operating conditions. Every family is developed for interchangeability and long service life, not for the minimum a specification allows.

  • 01

    What we make

Instrumentation valves, tube fittings, manifolds, double block and bleed valves, monoflange valves, high-pressure fittings and valves, air headers, condensate pots, swivel gauge adapters, syphons, and snubbers.

  • 02

    Where we make it

One manufacturing facility, with the registered office in Mumbai. Machining, assembly, testing, and dispatch run under one set of controls, and nothing that affects sealing is subcontracted.

  • 03

    Who we make it for

Process plants, EPC contractors, and OEMs specifying for oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, power, LNG, and clean energy service, in India and international markets.

Engineering philosophy

Eliminating uncertainty from critical operations

We size the sealing and gripping functions against the pressure, media, and temperature the connection will actually meet. Where a service falls outside what a standard fitting handles, we say so rather than quote one and hope.

01

Precision in Design

Products engineered with attention to every detail, ensuring dimensional accuracy and dependable sealing performance.

LOADSEAL
02

Reliability in Operation

Components designed to operate consistently under high pressure, vibration, temperature fluctuations, and aggressive process environments.

03

Consistency in Manufacturing

Repeatable manufacturing processes and rigorous quality controls that ensure every product meets the same exacting standards.

Manufacturing and quality

How a part is made and released

Parflow Engineering operates an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system. Quality is not a final inspection bolted onto production. Every stage from material receipt to dispatch runs to a documented process, and the record follows the part.

VERIFY01MACHINE02GAUGE03ASSEMBLE04TEST05BATCH06TRACE07RECORD08
01

Material verification

Incoming bar and forgings are checked against the mill certificate for the heat lot before anything reaches a machine.

02

Precision CNC machining

Bodies, ferrules, stems, and nuts are turned and milled to drawing, so dimensions repeat across the batch instead of being fettled to fit.

03

Dimensional inspection

Critical features are gauged against the drawing rather than judged by eye, and the readings are recorded against the batch.

04

Assembly under controlled process

Products are assembled to a written sequence, so make-up and component pairing do not vary between operators.

05

Pressure and leak testing

Assemblies are pressure-tested and leak-checked before packing, so a fitting is proven before it leaves the floor.

06

Batch quality control

Each batch is released against the same acceptance criteria, so a repeat order matches the parts already installed on site.

07

Material traceability

The heat lot record follows the part through machining, testing, and dispatch, so a fitting on site traces back to the bar it was turned from.

08

Documentation and inspection records

Test and inspection records are issued with the consignment and retained, so the evidence is on file when an audit asks for it.

Industries

Where a leak is not survivable

A fitting is specified against the duty it will actually see. These six sectors take the most of the catalogue, and each one asks something different of the joint.

Offshore drilling platform

Oil & Gas

Wellhead and platform lines run at pressure through constant vibration, and a joint that has to be cut out offshore costs a shift, not an hour.

16/16 familiesTwin-ferrule fittings, DBB valves, monoflange

Petrochemical plant stacks and structural steel

Petrochemical

Cracking and polymer units hold impulse and sampling lines at temperature for years between turnarounds.

16/16 familiesManifolds, needle valves, condensate pots

Refinery skyline at dusk

Refining

Crude, reforming, and treating units need isolation that a technician can prove closed before breaking a line.

14/16 familiesDBB valves, ball valves, gauge adapters

Thermal power station at night

Power Generation

Steam, feedwater, and turbine instrumentation sit on continuous duty, where thermal cycling works a joint loose over a season.

16/16 familiesSyphons, snubbers, high-pressure fittings

Process plant seen from the air

Chemical Processing

Corrosive and high-purity media rule out a body that is merely strong enough. The alloy has to suit the medium.

15/16 families316L, 6-Moly, and exotic alloy bodies

Gas processing columns

LNG & Industrial Gas

Cryogenic service contracts every component in the joint at once, and gas finds any path the contraction opens.

Our story

How the company got here

Four dated points in nearly four decades of manufacturing: the founding, the move into a purpose-built facility, the first customers outside India, and the business today.

Lathe and tooling in a single-unit machine shop
1987

One unit in Masjid Bunder

The Parekh brothers establish a precision engineering business from a single industrial unit in Masjid Bunder, Mumbai, built on technical expertise and manufacturing discipline.

2007

A purpose-built facility

Demand outgrows the rented units. Production consolidates into a purpose-built manufacturing facility, raising capacity and putting machining, assembly, testing, and dispatch under one set of controls.

2011

First international customers

The company establishes relationships with customers outside India, and the catalogue starts being specified beyond the domestic market.

Today

Sixteen families in production

Under Kunal Parikh, Parflow continues to invest in advanced manufacturing, product development, and global partnerships, with sixteen product families running through the same process controls.

Why Parflow

What you get with the part

Specifying an instrumentation component is a decision about safety and uptime, so customers need more than a price and a lead time. Every order carries the same evidence, whether it ships across the city or across an ocean.

  • 01

    The spec, before the order

Service conditions in, a configuration and a material recommendation out, usually inside a working day. If a standard fitting will not hold the service, we say so.

  • 02

    The certificate, with the part

Material is verified against its heat lot on receipt, and that record follows the part through machining and testing to dispatch.

  • 03

    The test record, on file

Assemblies are pressure-tested and leak-checked before packing. Inspection records ship with the consignment and are retained for audit.

  • 04

    The same part, next order

Batches are released against fixed acceptance criteria, so a repeat order interchanges with what is already installed on site.

Global outlook

Manufactured in India, specified anywhere

The objective is not to export products but to become a preferred engineering partner: the supplier an engineer abroad specifies by name, on the same evidence a domestic customer gets, which is the spec, the material certificate, and the test record.

Vision
To become a globally recognised manufacturer of precision instrumentation and flow control solutions, setting new benchmarks for engineering excellence, manufacturing quality, and customer confidence.
Mission
To design, manufacture, and deliver reliable instrumentation products that enable safer, more efficient, and more sustainable industrial operations while advancing the global reputation of Indian engineering.
