The installation
A Gujarat refinery re-instrumented a process unit with a 400-point impulse-line package, 12 mm OD lines connecting process take-offs to pressure and DP transmitters across the unit.
What was supplied
- TF-12 TwinFerrule™ fittings in 316L stainless steel
- Full material traceability per heat lot
- Gaugeable make-up, inspected before pressurisation
Service conditions
Continuous operation with process vibration, pressure pulsation from rotating equipment, and ambient thermal cycling between day and night operation.
Result
Zero recorded seal failures across all 400 points after 18 months in service. The independent seal/grip action of the twin-ferrule design held make-up through vibration and thermal cycling that had previously required periodic re-tightening rounds.
