The installation

Instrument and sample lines on a Hazira LNG loading rack see repeated thermal cycling between ambient and cryogenic temperatures, the kind of duty that works joints loose over time.

What changed

Connections were made with Parflow TwinFerrule™ TF-16 double-ferrule fittings in 6-Moly. The front ferrule seals and the back ferrule grips independently, so the joint stays gaugeable and leak-tight as the tube contracts and expands.

Result

The fittings held leak-tight through repeated cycling to −160 °C across the rack, with no re-torqueing required at scheduled inspections.
