The installation
Sampling and gauge lines on a Vadodara chemical plant carry aggressive, chloride-bearing media that had been chewing through standard stainless throttling valves.
What changed
The lines were re-valved with Parflow NV-6M multi-turn needle valves in 6-Moly bodies: fine, repeatable throttling with positive metal-seat shut-off, matched to the corrosive service.
Result
The 6-Moly bodies have resisted pitting and stress-corrosion in service, with zero valve replacements recorded to date and stable sampling flow control.
